Hi my spotify keeps pausing then when i press play after a minute or so it swipes it off the thing completely and I have to go all the way back to the app press play and it keeps doing the same thing yes i have premium so i dont know what's going on email: [email protected]. Re: Spotify Keeps Pausing Randomly. Open the App Store and redownload the app. Some apps require subscriptions for activation. If you can't activate the app or you don’t remember your sign-in information, contact the app developer. Apple Watch: Open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab. Scroll to the app you want to remove, then tap it. Make sure no other user is using your spotify account, and then see if it still pauses. This at least solved my problem, hope it helps. The same random pauses happens to me every now and then, so I thought hmmm maybe it's a bug with the spotify app, I'll just use the webplayer instead. Once I logged onto the webplayer it kept pausing randomly.
How to force an app to quit
- Press these three keys together: Option, Command, and Esc (Escape). This is similar to pressing Control-Alt-Delete on a PC. Or choose Force Quit from the Apple () menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.
- Select the app in the Force Quit window, then click Force Quit.
You may also need to delete the app and then reinstall it from the Spotify website where it was downloaded.
If you continue to have an issue after that, please try to start your computer into safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
Best regards.

According to some users, Spotify has stopped working on July 10. The application keeps crashing on iPhone, and it won’t open. Is there any way to fix it?
The iOS version of the application Spotify is crashing due to a bug which appears while opening the music streaming app.
Down Detector, an online web portal that reports whether an application is online or offline saw a huge number of requests of Spotify being down worldwide.
Is Spotify rolling out a new update? No, there has been no update news as such. The crash result might be due to change on Spotify’s own servers, the music giant is probably shifting its servers to a different location. And as we know, the app relies heavily on fast servers for a smooth experience.
Spotify Won’t Open iPhone, Spotify Crashing 2020 Fix
No, there is no fix for the issue. And deleting and re-installing the app will not solve the problem, many users have tried it already.
Is it working on Android? Yes, the application is working perfectly wine on other operating systems such as Android, Desktop, etc.
Initially, it mostly affected the users living in western Europe. However, slowly people from all around the world started reporting that Spotify won’t open in iOS devices.
Has Spotify Acknowledged the Issue? Yes, the official Spotify Status account has agreed the service is actually down and some had gone wrong with the app.

The tweet read, “Something’s out of tune. We’re currently investigating, and we’ll keep you posted here!”
The bug comes at the release time of Juice Wrld’s new posthumous album. The album was released yesterday and people reported that they have been facing issues with the app then onwards. Spotify crashing 2020 issue might be due to the sudden surge in number of users accessing Juice’s new album. However, nothing has been confirmed so far.
